Biography Ayami Watanabe (pianist) Ayami Watanabe was born to a musical family in Tokyo Japan, and made her debut recital at the age of 13. She completed piano professional class at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and unanimously won 1st prize at the graduate examination,and Master class with professor K. Drafi of Hungarian National Liszt Academy of Music. She has won many prizes including the 2nd prize in Yokohama International Music Competition,Ahrn Piano Conpetition Area convention the 1st Prize,Tokyo Piano Conpetition Section Piano Concerto the 2nd prize(without the 1st prize) She made guest appearance in Asian International Music Concert. She also held concerts benefiting the animals affected by the Fukushima disaster in 2012 and 2013, and this story was picked up by various newspapers. She has many performance activities throughout Japan and Europe.
