Ayami Watanabe (pianist)
Ayami Watanabe was born to a musical family in Tokyo Japan, and made her
debut recital at the age of 13.
She completed piano professional class at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris
and unanimously won 1st prize at the graduate examination.
She has made solo recital debuts at Musikverein (Vienna), Maison du japon
Grand salon(Paris), Ongakunotomo Hall(Tokyo)
She has won many prizes including the 2nd prize in Yokohama International
Music Competition,Ahrn Piano Conpetition Area convention the 1st Prize,Tokyo
Piano Conpetition Section Piano Concerto the 2nd prize(without the 1st
prize)
She also held concerts benefiting the animals affected by the Fukushima
disaster in 2012 and 2013, and this story was picked up by various newspapers.
She has many performance activities throughout Japan now.
